Gift Bag Genius: Create Your Own Gift Bags from Old Maps
Give old maps a new direction! Join local textile artist Sarah Satchell for a relaxed, creative upcycling workshop and learn how to turn unwanted car atlases and maps into unique handmade gift bags.
With a lifelong devotion to upcycling and reusing materials, Sarah will guide you through transforming large sheets of paper into bespoke gift bags. Old wrapping paper can be used too, giving materials a second life and helping to prevent waste.
With Christmas approaching, your creations will make a thoughtful, personalised way to present gifts. The workshop itself also makes a lovely gift for someone who enjoys getting creative.
