How to use fonio

From hearty porridges to fluffy pilafs, fonio can be transformed into a variety of mouthwatering dishes and can be added to salads, soups, stews & buddah bowls. Can be used as an alternative to rice, quinoa, couscous & polenta.

Directions: In a medium saucepan add 1 cup water to 1 cup pf Fonio.
Bring to boil.
Cover tightly with the lid.
Simmer on low heat for 1 min.
Remove from the heat.
Let stand covered for 4 minutes until the water is absorbed.
To serve: simply fluff with a fork.
