Citric acid – a fantastic natural cleaning product, or great for preserving
Citric acid is naturally found in fruits and one of its many uses is eco-cleaning.
Try using it with bicarbonate of soda to create a fizz.
It is also great for cleaning the toilet bowl as well as for greasy surfaces
Uses
- Cooking (as an alternative to vinegar or lemon juice, make sure to choose food-grade)
- Use to also make into an acid rinse for haircare
- Natural preservative

Please note, we have 2 types of citric acid, one food grade for preserves etc and the other type non-food grade is suitable for all cleaning activities around the house.
