Join us for a Summer foraging talk and learn to make the most of the abundance that Nature has to offer

The Nottingham Forager and Shop Zero are teaming up to bring you a seasonal foraging show-and-tell. During the talk, you’ll learn sustainable and utterly delicious foraging practices. Discover the species in your local environment and safely identify them. Then learn what to do with them so no stem, leaf or bloom goes to waste.

We’ll also talk about the legal and ethical aspects of foraging, how much you’re allowed to take, and how much you really should (hint: we like to make sure there’s more than enough left for wildlife as well as us to eat)

Join us for a relaxed, hour long session complete with freshly foraged hedgerow herbal infusions to sample – you can even get your zero waste shopping done afterwards. (Bring your container for 10% off any Shop Zero purchases during the evening.)

Lucy can’t wait to share the love of foraging with you x

Fantastic evening. Was engaged from the word go. Learnt lots and Lucy gave me the confidence to get out and forage myself. Subsequently harvested wild garlic and hedge garlic. The evening was intimate in numbers, with homemade refreshments (foraged of course), and Lucy’s delivery was both informative and memorable. We were able to see, feel, smell and eat the samples which really helped with retention later on. I’d recommend this workshop to anyone interested in the outdoors/sustainability/nature/self sufficiency
