Shop Zero aims to stock local producers. East Midlands’ maker, Saint Monday, make these plant-based, natural cleaning products. The name ‘Saint Monday’ was chosen for the business because Monday was a traditional day for seventeenth century craft-workers to be absent from work. This also coincided with the day for doing the laundry!

Saint Monday Laundry Soap is produced from pure coconut oil. To boost cleaning power, the soap is developed with a reduced fat content.

The soap can be used for hand washing or as a travel wash when away from home. Tough stains can be pre-treated before using the washing machine.

The Laundry Soap is a brilliant general stain remover; perfect for fabric, including washable sanitary pads. People have used it successfully on cacao, blackcurrant and make-up foundation. The maker also reports that it has been used to clean carpets!
