Shop Zero aims to stock local producers. East Midlands’ maker, Saint Monday, make these plant-based, natural cleaning products. The name ‘Saint Monday’ was chosen for the business because Monday was a traditional day for seventeenth century craft-workers to be absent from work. This also coincided with the day for doing the laundry!

Saint Monday Dish Soap is made from pure coconut oil and fragranced with lemon oil. The soap includes citric acid and washing soda which makes for sparkling dishes.

  • 100% biodegradable / compostable (including packaging)

Firstly, the ingredients include lemon essential oil for a fresh scent. Secondly, the recipe retains a small amount of oil. As a result, the soap is less drying on the skin. The inclusion of sodium carbonate results in softening of the dishwashing water. And the citric acid cuts through grease.
