Each piece is hand crafted, reusable and sustainably produced. These nail files are made from Swedish sandstone which has been machined by hand from the mountain sides of the Dalarna region in Central Sweden. This fabulous Nordic design and quality makes these luxury beauty care products wonderful to use. They will last for generations. Swedish Orsa sandstone is 360 million years old and comes from mountains surrounded by forest, home to elk and bear, and is made up of silicon-bonded quartz. It’s exceptional resistance to abrasion makes it long-lasting and durable so it is traditionally used for building blocks, millstones and grinding stones.

I bought this a few weeks ago because I was sick of broken nails snagging on things. It’s just the right size to hold comfortably and has the right grain to easily file my nails.
