Vegan, Natural Soap-Making Workshop
25 January @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Make your own vegan, all natural soap from scratch By popular demand we’re pleased to welcome Lily from Green Fig Soap Studio back to Shop Zero for this wonderful soap-making course. At Shop Zero we like to empower you to live a more sustainable life. Lots of people find soap less wasteful and making your own means you can reduce packaging and control exactly what goes into it. So, discover the magic, chemistry and art of soap-making and create gorgeous, natural, vegan soaps with Green Fig Soap Studio. Using Green Fig’s luxurious recipe and choosing your own blend of essential oils, micas (natural colours), and dried botanicals, you’ll make two depending batches of truly unique soaps that are 100% yours. You’ll be using the best, natural raw ingredients and essential oils (with no SLS, parabens, synthetic colours, fragrances or any other nasties) and learning to master the scientific process of making real soap from scratch. You’ll go home with your two batches of soap amounting to around a kilo of soap – perfect for sharing the zero waste love! All materials are included. You will be working with chemicals so please wear long sleeves, trousers and closed toe footwear. The workshop will be held in the workshop room at the Malt Cross at 16 St James’ St just 2 minutes walk from Market Square, the tram and city centre bus stops. The venue is fully accessible to wheelchairs. Please contact us if you have any access issues as we’d like to help.
