Lessons in Eco-Living – Talks
8 March @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
In these times of climate and environmental crises, lots of us are looking for ways to make a difference. Rather than worrying, let’s imagine a world we want to see and take action to make it happen! As part of our First Birthday celebrations we are organising a special event…
Our aim at Shop Zero is to empower people to live a more sustainable life so, in partnership with Greenpeace Notts, we’re hosting a day of talks from local people who will inspire you to make a change in your life and in that of your community to tread more lightly on our Earth.
All the speakers will talk about their experiences and provide practical tips that you can make your own.
Confirmed talks are *low-waste living tips*, *starting a repair cafe*, *Greenpeace’s GreenSpeaker – campaigning ideas* *washable nappies*
Follow this event for more info as we add more speakers and please suggest ideas for the talks you’d like. If you’re interesting in speaking at this event, please complete the form at his link: https://shopzero.co.uk/practical-insights-to-live-a-more-conscious-life/
This is free event and donations are welcome. The event will be held in the Malt Cross (adjoining Shop Zero) workshop room at 16 St James St, NG1 6FG. The venue is 2 minutes from Market Square in the centre of Nottingham. The room is accessible to wheelchairs. If you have any access issues please get in touch, we’d love to help.
