Electric vehicles – what you need to know
8 March @ 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
If you’re interested in getting an electric vehicle, come and find out more.
Electric vehicles are considered important in the charge to tackle climate change. What could be the benefits of owning one? What should you consider when looking to purchase an EV? What are the practical aspects of running such a vehicle?
We hope this talk will answer these questions and more.
So, we’re delighted to be welcoming Thomas Steffan, Senior Lecturer from the Univeristy of Loughborough and member of Nottingham EV Owners’ Club to the event.
The talk is part of the ‘Lessons in Eco-living’ event organised by Shop Zero in collaboration with Greenpeace Nottingham to celebrate our first Birthday. The aim of the day is to get people thinking and ready to take practical steps to reduce our environmental impact. Other talks include Greenpeace – from National to local campaigning, Reusable Nappies and Starting your own Repair Cafe. Check out our EventBrite for free tickets to these talks.
This a free event, but it is ticketed and any profits from donations will go to Greenpeace Nottingham.
The event will be held in the Workshop Room at the Malt Cross which adjoins Shop Zero. The Malt Cross is a beautiful heritage Music Hall which is 2 minutes from Nottingham’s Market Square and central to the city centre tram and bus stops. The room is fully wheelchair accessible and if you have any access issues, let us know as we’d like to help.
