Eco-Cleaning Workshop

29 February @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us at Shop Zero and learn how to create your own natural, zero waste, earth friendly cleaning products. Led by Lily from Green Fig Soap Studio, you’ll soon get your home gleaming and fresh, using only natural, safe ingredients – and no harmful chemicals.

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn:
* How to make 3 different cleaning products to take home with you (which will cover most of the cleaning jobs your home needs)
* How to use different essential oils around the house, and how to switch up the recipes we’ve taught you at home to create a product which is unique to you
* Please bring your own clean jars to transport your loo bombs home. We have 28mm spray tops available if you have a bottle to fit, otherwise please bring a jar or bottle for your all purpose cleaner as well

We’ve been conditioned to believe that we all need a thousand and one products to clean our homes – one bottle for the sink, another for the counters, something else for the cooker. This one to kill germs, that one to polish, and yet more to add a homely scent. And that’s just the kitchen, the bathroom is a whole other story…!

Not only does this quickly become expensive and result in a house full of plastic bottles and aerosols – these chemicals can actually be harmful to our health.

The workshop is for a maximum of 10 people and will be in held in the Malt Cross Workshop Room which is fully wheelchair accessible. The Malt Cross is situtated just 2 minutes from the Market Square in the centre of Nottingham, the central tram and bus stops. If you have any access issues, please let us know as we would like to help.
